In most casesno. The international EAN system is generally accepted in most markets, and the original GTIN can usually continue to be used. Whether an additional number range is needed depends on the specific requirements of the listing platform and retailer — state the platform in the request form, and the consultant will give you a direct conclusion.
How long does processing take?+
It varies greatly by item: D-U-N-S coding takes 7–25 working days depending on the region; product barcodes depend on the coding association's processing progress. Whether the documents are complete is the biggest variable affecting the timeline, and each item will be checked one by one during business communication.
